Great Lakes GPR – Field Technician Southeast MI

Education: An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience, Engineering, Contracting, or Construction related fields is preferred but not required.
Salary: Base pay between 35K to 65K with added Commission Structure
Great Lakes GPR, LLC is a rapidly growing company that services Michigan and the Great Lakes region. We are a near surface geophysics company that specializes in Concrete Scanning Surveys, Utility Location Surveys, Ground Penetrating Radar Surveys and Geophysical Surveys. We are looking for a self-motivated, professional with a demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit to join our Team as a Field Technician. 75% of the job will be spent in the field environment with some administrative work.
Qualifications Include:
• Experience in GPR or Geophysics is preferred but not required
• Confident and comfortable working in different environments and weather conditions such as; outdoors, indoors, construction zones, confined spaces, and heights
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying at least 50lbs
• Excellent communication and personal skills
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects
• Flexibility to prioritizes and respond to all short notice client needs
• The ability to drive to multiple job sites per day (rarely to exceed 240 miles from Field Office)
• Self-motivated problem solver with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
• Valid Michigan Driver's License
